A zero cost strategy is a marketing tactic that doesn’t cost anything to execute.

What is Zero Cost Strategy?

The term has its origins in the financial world, where investments are connected with cost. In our use as marketers, a zero cost strategy is one where there is no financial expense incurred.

One thing to note however, is despite not having external costs connected to it, a zero cost strategy will still entail internal resources such as time involved in creating and promoting your content, as well as your workers’ wages.
